Ship, then talk
Our track record is public: live products, open-source libraries, real users. We would rather show you working software than a slide deck.
A UK software studio that ships its own products, and brings the same standards to a small number of client engagements.
Wannaverse is the trading name of WannaCall Ltd, founded in January 2021 in the United Kingdom by Suraj Kumar. Suraj started his career as a software developer, progressed to technical lead, and then took the leap that most developers only talk about: starting a company to build the products he wanted to exist.
The first of those products, WannaCall, turned out to need almost everything a software company can do: native mobile apps, real-time video, payments, cloud infrastructure and compliance. Building it forged a team and a toolkit. Along the way we shipped smaller products the industry could use today, PokerPoint and WannaTrack, and published the libraries we built for ourselves as open source.
That is the consultancy pitch, honestly stated: everything we offer a client is something we already do for ourselves, in production, with our own money on the line.
WannaCall Ltd is founded in the United Kingdom by Suraj Kumar, with a plan to build products rather than just bill hours.

WannaCall Ltd starts trading as Wannaverse, one studio behind a growing family of products, while the WannaCall app, our biggest build yet, heads towards launch.
Our track record is public: live products, open-source libraries, real users. We would rather show you working software than a slide deck.
A free consultation means a straight answer, including “you don’t need an app for that” when it is true. Projects priced to succeed, not to start.
The tools we build for ourselves go on GitHub under MIT. Good engineering compounds when it is shared.
Whether you need a product built end to end or a specialist to unblock your team, it starts with a conversation.
